Leaving a high-demand religion can be lonely. Many of us felt untethered as we lost our faith, our community, and a large part of our identity all at the same time. But just as we once found joy and meaning within our belief systems, we can now forge a new path that is just as meaningful and just as joyful. This collection of poems and short stories is about life after faith. It is about the fear and the betrayal that can accompany a loss of faith, and also about the new peace and direction that can follow. It is meant to help readers understand their own faith transitions or those of their loved ones, and to help make the process a little less lonely.
