
Warren Firschein is the author of several middle grade novels, including Out of Synch (Chapter Two Press, 2015), considered the all-time best-selling middle grade novel about the sport of synchronized swimming. His most recent books are The Map of Eternity and The Crystal Sea (both by Chapter Two Press, 2019), which comprise The Bean Store duology. He is the co-founder and managing editor of Odet, an annual literary journal based in Tampa Bay, and the coauthor of the non-fiction A Brief History of Safety Harbor, Florida, published by History Press in 2013. After growing up in New Jersey, he graduated from the University of Rochester in 1989 with a degree in political science, followed by a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
