
Anthony Wayne Robinson, III was drafted into the US Army at the age of 28 and served overseas in WWII with the 743rd Tank Battalion. He worked 40 years at the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin beginning as a reporter and retiring in 1974 as a theatrical critic and associate editor. After retirement, he continued to write articles for newspapers in Cape May County. He was a published author, most notably of "Barbara", a novel inspired by his war experiences. His vocabulary was exceptional. He became a gifted builder of model ships that were frequently displayed in local museums. He was survived by his wife of 71 years, Agnes (formerly Perry); his daughter Betsy (Barry) Henry; 7 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
