We Are All Diseased is a poetry collection about the hardships of growing up, learning to accept yourself, and finding hope in the darkness. We are all broken people with different struggles and if we learn to love each other despite our flaws, we can finally heal. “One day I woke up to the beating of my heart. But it was different, almost unrecognizable. It was a vessel at sea in the midst of a storm, and it threatened to shatter. It was overshadowed by a city so that no one noticed its struggle not even myself. I made the mistake to ignore the problem and continued on with my day. But my heart didn’t forget because it was frozen and alone, stranded in the depths of the sea.”
