Wesley Moor hails from Poverty, Kentucky. Nestled between Lemon and Calhoun, Poverty has long been called the crown jewel of the Green River. In a much truer sense though, it absolutely has never been called that. Still, like the rest of the Bluegrass State, it has a certain charm that can seduce and snare the unwary. In July 2022, Wesley released his debut novel, Pleasant Surprises, a book that combined some of Wesley's favorite things: history, horror, science fiction, and of course, Kentucky. Pleasant Surprises is a Southern-soaked, brain-eating tale with an aching soul that can’t help but shine through. When he's not writing, Wesley enjoys smoking cigars, golfing, studying flags from around the globe, singing karaoke, and writing about himself in the third person.
