I walk the streets of Fairbanks selling my body to anyone that's willing to give me a go. My prices aren't very steep, and my standards aren't high, but I won't settle for less than I'm worth. Sometimes, a girl just needs a roof over her head, a meal in her stomach, and a place to call her own—even if it's a shitty motel room. But something is different this time. My latest John has a mystery to him, a dangerous gleam hidden behind black-framed glasses and a James Dean facade. Do I trust him? No, but if I want to eat tomorrow, I'll have to do what I do best to survive. I didn't know what he had in store for me. I didn't know what evil lurked behind the shy man that could barely look at me when we first met. I'll have to use every survival instinct I have to be able to make it through this ordeal alive, but I have something that he doesn't. And when he least expects it, he'll see what a girl that's spent most of her life on the streets is really capable of.
