June refuses to worship the Fates who are trying to kill her. While the people of Vegas Valley are devoted to the Fates and the mysterious Monolith they sent to earth, June blames these goddesses of life and death for her family’s curse—only one child in her family can survive at a time. When her mother announces another child on the way, June’s life is at risk again. Desperate to break the curse, June seeks answers inside the Monolith, the giant cloud where the Fates are rumored to reside. Inside, she meets Clotho, the goddess of Fate who is losing control of life, death, and her emotions.
