Many movies and stories have imagined what a zombie apocalypse would look like, but very few come up with a plausible reason for such an event to occur. Some provide for a nuclear holocaust that causes humans to remain animated for one reason or another. Others talk of toxic spills, or mysterious viruses, but what if it would occur because of what already exists as a normal occurrence in the natural order of things. Add in man’s meddling and yearning to play God, introduce an innocent mishap and the recipe is complete for a real scenario for the end of our existence.
