Childhood friends Leigh Hill and Paloma Finch left their high-pressure big city jobs to pursue a quieter life running the Wicked Wick candle shop in the small town of Fall Haven. Rumors about a giant chain warehouse store moving to town have the mom-and-pop business owners on edge, but the community is stringing up lights, baking pies, and setting up booths in the town square to sell their wares at the annual Winter Festival. But when a prominent local businessperson winds up dead in the middle of the festival grounds, Leigh and Paloma realize their little hamlet isn’t as quiet and innocent as they had hoped. Plenty of people have a lot to lose if the megastore comes to town, but are any of them angry enough to kill? The ladies of Wicked Wick must sniff around for clues and solve the crime before their business—or their lives—are snuffed out.

A sledgehammer, a corpse, and a maple-scented mystery... Renovations at the old Fall Haven Maple Factory are right on target until an overenthusiastic giant dog reveals a secret long hidden in the historic walls: a body! The local sheriff is too busy investigating a string of fires to be of much help on this one. As the fires pop up closer and closer to the center of town, Fall Haven residents become more spooked. So amateur sleuths Leigh Hill and Paloma Finch step out of their comfort zone at the Wicked Wick candle shop and into the sticky situation. With their eclectic team of helpers, they must dig into the factory's not-so-perfect past to determine who the victim was, and who did the dirty deed, before the old maple factory or their beloved candle shop go up in smoke.

Something Fall Haven has never seen much of is paparazzi. But with the impending destination wedding of movie star Hudson Smith-Jones to social media star Song Yu, the small town is filled to bursting with cameras, fans, and groupies, not to mention the families, wedding party, and apparently, a killer. Leigh Hill and Paloma Finch at the Wicked Wick Candle Shop have been hired to create a signature "Scentstory" for the extravagant Yu-Smith-Jones affair. When one of the wedding party shows up dead in the middle of town, Leigh and Paloma must follow the olfactory clues to sniff out the killer—a crazed fan, a jealous brother, or one of the stinking rich family members—before someone else ends up pushing up daisies.

Cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and hints of something really rank. Fall Haven loves a good festival, especially when it’s fall themed! The Sleepy Haven Farm is going all out this year, with a you-pick-it pumpkin patch, a haunted farm and corn maze, and loads of spooky activities all week long. Leigh Hill and Paloma Finch will be splitting time between their Wicked Wick candle shop on the Fall Haven town square and spending evenings out at the farm selling hot tea and cider. When they offer to help out with some of the haunted activities, they are confronted with something far scarier than vampire jump-scares and fake blood splattered a real dead body.
