Pulled by a strong spirit Wil followed a new trail west, leaving Sandy. A scared, injured young girl found Wil asking him to help her save her Dad. Leading Wil into a gun battle with murderous thugs the efforts fail. After the fight, Wil took Lila to her dying father. Before Ted died, he deeded Wil his gold claim asking him to take Lila to his brother in Aurora, a gold town.
