Travelling through the countryside in a stolen sea-green Cadillac, Xavi and Sam are both searching for something neither has the courage to admit to. But as the days slip away, Xavi isn’t sure he can keep his promise to stay with Sam; he isn’t sure about anything anymore. On the edge of the sea, in a field of wildflowers, Xavi finally realises that if they keep on going as they are, he’s going to lose Sam, in every way possible. And he can’t bear it. Loving Sam becomes the only truth Xavi knows, saving him the only thing that makes sense. Now he just has to convince Sam that life—and love—are worth fighting for.
