'William Bartlett joined NBC in 1995 as an editor in the press department, but has spent most of his career as a speechwriter, producer, and historian. For the last several years, he has curated exhibits on the history of the company, and this volume draws on his research for these projects. He has ghostwritten numerous articles and op-eds, as well as books, in whole or part. This is his first book to be published under his name. He holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from Rutgers University.'
