
William Schreiber earned the Rising Star Award from the Women's Fiction Writers Association for his debut novel Someone to Watch Over. He's also a produced screenwriter and adapted the book from his screenplay, which has won or been nominated for many competition awards, including the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. It has earned numerous Best Screenplay awards at film festivals throughout the country. A hobbyist recording musician and a graduate of the University of Florida, he's a native of Augusta, Georgia, grew up in Fort Myers, Florida, along the Gulf of Mexico and now lives in Seattle with his wife and two rescue cats.
