In this issue, we are given a look into the lives of Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin before they became W.I.T.C.H. and before they all met each other. We are shown a special moment in each of the girls' lives and also how they first discovered their powers.

This issue takes place some time after the end of the Nerissa's Revenge saga when Caleb ended his romantic relationship with Cornelia. The two of them are heartbroken and go their separate ways; Cornelia back to Earth and Caleb back to Meridian to live with Elyon and Vathek in the Meridian Palace. This W.I.T.C.H. issue is unique because it acts like two separate issues: one with Cornelia's story and one with Caleb's. Each one starts in Kandrakar where the Oracle expresses his sadness regarding Cornelia and Caleb's separate destinies. The Oracle notices that even after a pretty long time they are still frustrated over their break up. He then enters a room where he can look through a magical lake and see distant worlds. It is here that the two stories start to differ: in one version he looks at Cornelia who is sleeping in her room on Earth and in the other at Caleb who is sleeping in the Meridian Castle on Metamoor. However in both cases while the one that is being watched is asleep, the Oracle decides to show him/her visions of what would have happened if he/she would have given up life on his/her home planet to go live with the other.

This special issue deals with Orube's life on Earth, mainly with her application at the university for a journalist course. Here she solves a case, where one of the university's teachers steals the computers from one of the student newspapers, so that only his could remain in business. In the issue, while she is in Irma's house, Orube breaks the faucet because she doesn't know how to turn it off. Later Irma and Orube try to cook something but it ends up overcooked. In Orube's office, a lady gives her a camera and then Orube suddenly presses the capture button and she begins to collapse because of the flash from the camera and because she doesn't know how to use it. Later Taranee visits Orube to chat and then, Orube tries to take a picture of Taranee and after doing so, Taranee checks to see if the picture is right and the picture was taken perfectly. Earlier, when Orube was a child, she was tutored in martial arts by Luba, her teacher, in Basiliade.

It starts off with the girls with Peter and Joel watching the World Cup Championship on television. Irma starts obsessing with her favorite football player David Adams and Joel seems kinda jealous that she is cheering for him so much. Irma and Joel get into an argument and Irma storms out of the house but listens through the door so she does not miss any of the game. The next day Irma missed the ending of the game and is talking about it with Tara. Then they run into Vicky a girl who loves to play football but her mother won't let her because she is a boy. They see a flyer for a boy's football team where Irma comes up with an idea. She decides to try out for the football team dressed as a boy. And enlists the other girls to help her learn more about football to get on the team. Joel apologized for the way he acted and Irma forgives him right away and Joel is so confused.

It's Christmas time at Heatherfield and girls are doing their last shopping when a new evil comes to time: an ancient spirit of the Winter.

This story focuses around Caleb and Elyon When a dark cloud appeared in Meridian, Elyon's powers were taken and threatens her life. she ordered Caleb to enter the dark mist to recover her magic and life force and giving him the weapon of the Escanors Blue Destiny, Wali (caleb's friend) volunteered to help him When he and Caleb entered the dark mist (valley of shadows) they have found a house just outside of the tower. Caleb checked it hoping to find any clues that might lead him behind Elyon's missing powers.Unknown to both Wali and Caleb that the statue that they have seen outside becomes animated and are observing them. After a short battle between Caleb and a prisoner they peacefully communicate with Shadiga. she tells them that maybe the guard knows the answer that they are seeking. Before letting Caleb confront the guard Shadiga ordered him to leave Wali as their hostage since they don't trust the aliens. Though Caleb hesitated Wali insist that he must leave in order to save Elyon.

Girls are hosts to various athletes for Teen Olympics that are being held in Heatherfield.
