Life in Hollow Cove has finally settled down—or so I thought. I’m ready to enjoy my new life with my newish husband, but apparently, peace and quiet just isn’t in the cards for me. Enter Lilith—the Goddess of Night and Queen of the Netherworld—who shows up unannounced and demands a favor. Saying no isn’t really an option. I mean, how do you tell a literal goddess to shove it when refusing means she’ll kill you? So yeah, I agree. Big mistake. What she’s asking for is more than I bargained for, and I’m not sure I can go through with it. But if I don’t? Well, she’s made it clear I won’t live to regret it. To top it all off, my aunts and I have been honored with an invitation to compete in the Arcane Summit—the most prestigious magical competition in our world. Prestigious, sure.
