I thought it would be interesting to hear the stories of people who had no place to go, who could not isolate themselves and depended on their caretakers to keep them safe, which they did not, or did not have the education or instruction or the means to do so. People incarcerated had to endure what came to them from the outside. Think about it, since Covid-19 is transmitted person to person, if you were not exposed you would not get sick. People in prison are not exposed to the outside would except from the people going in and out on a daily basis from home to work, bringing in the virus to people who could not escape or protect themselves. They could not go out and buy masks to wear, they could not stand six feet apart, they could not do anything to stop it. Even now the facilities are still going on lock down as new infections keep spreading in them again and again. Here are a few stories that were donated to me for this book to share with the world. I hope you enjoy them.
