I was born in a small town in Central Kentucky. After high school I graduated from the University of Kentucky and attained my Masters Degree from Campbellsville Kentucky. After working as both a social worker and a special education teacher I left my position to care for my ailing parents. While caring for them I became inspired to write. The series really took hold of me and gave me a wonderful escape from the realities of my surroundings. Soon the characters were as familiar to me as old friends. Immersing myself in research and writing was a comfort to me while facing such intense family illness. It is my hope that this series will provide readers with a fresh perspective in the vampire genre and leave them fulfilled yet wanting more. In my series it is true that not all vampires are created equal.
