Born in 1982 in Barcelona, Spain. Xavier Marcé ended his university studies of Journalism in Seville, city where he established a permanent home after living in Casablanca, Zurich and Oslo. Since 1996 he began specializing in communication and marketing for online communities, within the games industry. He was responsible for three years of the popular section ‘Zona Online’ for the Micromania magazine. In 2004 co-founded Juegaenred.com, the first Spanish digital magazine focused in multiplayer and MMO games.In 2013, he founded GoMultiplayer.com to give continuity to its editorial philosophy. In 2007 he was hired by Funcom as a Spanish Community manager for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures and The Secret World. As a concerned and proactive person, Xavier Marcé combines writing with the training of professionals in Community and Crisis Management, either from the University of Seville or externally, acting as consultant in various fields, such as video games or tourism. In 2012 he founded his own publishing company to launch ‘Mark of Odin’ as a pioneer product in the literary and publisher world, designed to show a new path in the industry that is synchronized to modern social needs. His leadership as pioneer and as an entre-preneur led to him being showcased in 2013 as ‘Inventiveness Entrepreneur’ by the magazine ‘Revista Emprendedores’ and awarded as one of the ‘100 Be!er Ideas of2012’ by the magazine ‘Actualidad Económica’ in Spain.
