I'm a Bay girl through and through. Even though Oakland has changed exponentially over the years, it's still a place that is "home". I have a love for the city that will never waver. I've been at this for about 6 years now. Not as consistent as it should have been. But it's 2022 and I do plan to change that. There are way too many stories swimming in my head for me to ignore the calls to be told. So, here I am! I write urban romance stories. I won't necessarily say that the dudes are thugged-out or anything like that. But I wouldn't call them soft either. They're just who they are and far from perfect. The female leads in my books are flawed, but beautiful... inside and out. I kind of let them come together and tell me the story they want the world to know. At the end of the day, it's about a Black woman getting the love that she deserves, and from a man that truly deserves her. I can't say that I saw healthy relationships growing up. Because of that, I can't quite claim one of my own. But I do try to map them out in my books in a way that I damn sure wouldn't mind having. You know? And all while telling a story that fits, as well.
