At 18 years old, Nash Smoak maintains three jobs. He works as an assistant to the cook in a small diner, he is shadily hired as a construction worker, and works as an attendant at a game arcade. Nash needs to take on those jobs in order to support his two brothers and sickly Grandma. Ever since the tragic accident of his parent’s death. He took it upon himself to support his family. After being worked to the bone, Nash found that sacred place, his paradise of relief, the Virtual Reality World of Zectas. However, his only sanctuary was destroyed when a group of high level players used him as bait in one of their quests. Nash was captured and tortured by the Legendary Monster! Little did they know that this incident would cause the birth of the Legendary User Smoke!

Smoke continues his adventure in the wondrous Virtual Reality world of Zectas. The DarkElf is joined by a red werebear named Sierra. Together with his private army, they venture into the heraldic city of Coatl. Where the Maneator King, Konig Mitleid, has given them the quest of liberating his brethren trapped beneath the city.

After the death of Mitleid, the Maneator King, Smoke and Sierra decide to strengthen their group and form a guild, using the ruined village of Verbrannt as their base of operations. While their newly-founded guild is preparing to face off against the Brandal forces of Duke Burmistrz, Smoke leaves on a journey to Veneficatl valley in search of the three Witches of Wysteria, to find a cure for Sierra's curse. Join Smoke once again as he continues to discover more of the virtual reality world of Zectas.

After killing two out of the three Witches of Wysteria, Smoke was deceived by the last Witch, Horrabelle. Despite this setback, his private army was still bolstered with Tikbalangs and Werewolves. He was now one step closer to finding a cure for Sierra. However, the Brandals have made their intentions on conquering Centzo City evident. Smoke had no choice, but to put everything aside for the moment and lend a helping hand towards the encroached city.

With the tragic death of Sharur and Laernea, Smoke ventured out to the continent of Sawtorn. There, he hopes to find a miracle. As the Brotherhood of Beggars informed him that a Thaumaturge may live there, in the form of the true Magietrois. However, Smoke's quest for his friends' resurrection is on constrained time. Duke Burmistrz of Centzo City plans to attack Verbrannt within a year's time.

With the Ork numbers greatly rising in the southern continent, Smoke and the other Generals of Vitzytl searched for allies to help them vanquish the verdant threat of Sawtorn. Altruistic as this endeavor may be, Smoke feared that his real purpose of being in Sawtorn was already greatly pushed back. He wondered if he could ever find his way into the realm of the dead Zectians—Mictlan.
