A Vampire Virtuoso, a Faery Prince, and a slew of heinous murders. I have promenaded down the streets and avenues of New Orleans for two hundred years. Born and long since dead, I received the Cadeau de Sang Illecebrous at the tender age of sixteen in 1820, and ever since that lurid moment, I, Zylphia Lynum, have shadowed the Crescent City, hunting prey as a vampire. That life is no more, whether I like it or not. Our Monarchs, for whom I would do anything, have created and promoted a time of peace among the witches, voodoo practitioners, ghosts, and now the half-fae that have entered our sacred city. Now, some half-faeries are missing, and the Seelie Queen of faeries threatens to wage war on the vampires of New Orleans. With my King and Queen on their honeymoon, it’s up to me to assuage the faeries and protect my city, all while dealing with a captivating faery who turned up in Claret right before the killings began to occur. I have no time for a tryst and certainly no need for anything more, but he is wrapped into every aspect of our faery drama, and his ocean blue eyes haunt my every step.
