تأسست مجموعة شركات نهضة مصر للنشر 1938 بهدف إتاحة الفرصة للقاريء العربي للتزود من المعرفة، والحصول على معلومات في شتى مجالات الحياة. وقد قدمت الكثير لخدمة الحياة الثقافية ورفع مستوى الوعي والفكر لدى القاريء العربي بين مختلف شرائح المجتمع، وساهمت مساهمة فعالة في إثراء المكتبة العربية بكل ما هو نفيس وقيم من الكتب والمؤلفات. بدأت نهضة مصر كدار نشر صغيرة، ثم أصبحت الآن عنصراً أساسياً في التنمية الثقافية في العالم العربي. وقد حققت المجموعة نمواً كبيراً خلال رحلة طويلة امتدت لأكثر من سبعين عاماً، ونجحت في تأسيس خمس شركات مختلفة تعمل الآن ككيان واحد متجانس بهدف تحقيق رؤيتها ومهمتها النبيلة في خدمة المجتمع. تقوم مجموعة شركات نهضة مصر للنشر بتقديم باقة من الخدمات الثقافية والتعليمية المتكاملة والتي تتمتع بأعلى مستويات الجودة، وذلك من الألف إلى الياء، فيبدأ العمل بوضع مفاهيم أولية وتصورات، ثم يتطور العمل إلى بلورة المفاهيم والتصورات في صورة فكرة محددة وكتابتها أو ترجمتها، ثم تأتي مرحلة النشر في صورة كتاب مطبوع أو محتوى رقمي، ونصل في النهاية إلى مرحلة التوزيع وعقد دورات تدريبية عن كيفية استخدام المنتج. واجهت دار نهضة مصر للنشر خلال رحلتها العديد من التحديات والمصاعب التي واجهتها بكل صمود وإصرار. لاحت بوادر التقدم والتطور أولاً في عملية الطباعة، ثم شهدت دار نهضة مصر للنشر مرحلة أخرى من التطور عندما بدأت دخول المجال الإلكتروني وقامت بتقديم المواد التعليمية والتعليمية الترفيهية والترفيهية لأول مرة عن طريق الوسائل الإلكترونية. وبذلك نجحت مجموعة شركات نهضة مصر للنشر في تقديم حلول تعليمية وثقافية متكاملة من شأنها إنعاش الحياة الثقافية، وإحداث صحوة فكرية في العالم العربي، وتقريب المسافات وسد الفجوة القائمة بين مجتمعاتنا العربية والمجتمعات الأخرى.
