I’ve never really had a family outside of my friends, but that hasn’t stopped me from wanting one. When I’m no closer to being with the man of my dreams, I decide there’s nothing stopping me from becoming a mom on my own. I decide to do just that right after my best friend’s wedding. As a final pre-pregnancy hurrah, I give myself permission to flirt with her brother during the festivities. He’s a grumpy mountain man who is only in town for the wedding.
