We first met this relatable family in “It Be Like That Sometimes.” Then we got to know them a little better in “Love Me Right,” and now they are back with “A Blended Family Christmas”, a holiday spin-off. With this family, drama doesn't take a vacation merely because it’s the holiday season. and it becomes painfully obvious when Jah'loni and Eric can't seem to catch a break. In this story, the vows that the pair exchanged at the altar years ago are being tested like never before. All Jah'loni wants to do is to enjoy spending time with the siblings she's never met, but between her husbands closeted child, the bitter baby mama, and the whoa’s of raising a sneaky teenager with a surprise of her own, the picture-perfect marriage that they seem to have, doesn’t seem perfect anymore. Jah’loni’s sisters Camille and Hazel come to her with relationship problems and insecurities of their own, but there’s something about Christmas magic, and being around the love of family, that will help you love yourself a little more. Self-love is the best love, even if self-love pushes you out of your comfort zone and out of the arms of the one you love. Have mercy on this family. Hopefully they can survive their blended family Christmas.
