Being single during the holidays is always hard, and well-known Advice Columnist Amara Douglas knows this more than anyone. Amara finds it quite ironic that she gets paid good money to give out the best dating advice, but can't seem to apply any of it to her own life. Her taste in the wrong men have led her down a path of heartache, and has made dating seem like a household chore that she would rather not complete. It is just two weeks shy of Christmas and her thirty-third birthday, and Amara is being pressured by her family and her religion to settle down. In fact, if she's not seriously dating by her birthday, Amara will be forced into an arranged marriage to someone she's never even met. Hoping to avoid an arranged marriage at all costs, Amara attempts to make all the Mr. Wrongs in her life Mr. Right, by seeing potential where there really is none.
