Eldon seems to pick up a new ‘passion’ about once a year. He’s spent time kayaking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, cycling, running, doing martial arts, shooting handguns and playing way too many different videogames to even begin to count. For years the only hobby that was a reoccurring theme was reading, but it seems that he’s picked up second habit that just won’t go away. He’s been writing fiction in some form or fashion for most of the last ten years and has recently begun publishing his backlist under a variety of different names. Those of you wishing Eldon had more books up for you to read may be excited to learn that Eldon Murphy is a pen name used by author Dean Murray to write young adult urban fantasy set in Dean Murray’s Reflections universe that Dean feels like is a little darker than his normal young adult work. Dean has published a number of novels and short stories set in the same world that Eldon is using for Geoffrey’s story. As time goes on the various characters that Dean/Eldon have been writing will get a chance to run into each other. The results should be pretty spectacular before all is said and done.
