Arken Sinsorro and his wife Zoey love their life. Travelling the lands of Belhest, sampling all the world has to offer; food, drink, and people. Armed with his silver violin which enhances his magical ability, the two put on performances the likes people had never seen, bringing joy and happiness to as many people as they can. Until they learn of a horror sweeping across the lands; an army of blood sucking monsters, seeking to destroy the world as they know it. With the help of the battle-scarred dragon Grinthol, Arken puts his violin to a new use; violence and destruction. Together they battle impossible odds to try and save their loved ones; and the lives of the few remaining dragons the vampires seem to have set their eyes on.
