After two years living in the wilderness, Lia finds interacting with other people much harder than working with the animals in the Royal Academy's menagerie. She knows she just has to get through her classes in order to be accepted in Valeria, her adopted country. But when her past follows her to her new home and she meets a quiet, studious boy who might be the key to unlocking her true self, she realizes she's done running from her ghosts.
