Settled into a new apartment with her spirit best-friend, Candy, Hazel Watson prepares for her life as a fully functional adult. Her career as an attorney at the Public Defender's office is demanding, so what Hazel doesn't need is a new ghost, or a new obligation. Unfortunately, Hazel's abilities to see and speak to the dead create a glow around her she cannot hide from the dead, causing them to flock to her for help concluding their earthly business, dragging her into one mystery after another.
