Three thousand years after his defeat, Neldin, the god of death, begins a new war to rule all of Nendor. The new war begins when Meglar, servant of Neldin, attacks the neighboring kingdom of Yar-del. Zenora, queen of Yar-del, knows only her son, Farrell, can defeat Meglar and thwart Neldin’s plans. But Farrell is too young and needs time to come into his power. Faced with the certain death of her son if he challenges Neldin’s servant too soon, Zenora must make a hard choice to protect the son she loves.
