He hasn’t had a personal relationship in decades, and has no interest in one, but the adorable little tiger shifter walks like a sex kitten and issues orders like a military general. Her people obviously respect her, and he finds he doesn’t want to leave her side when she’s ready to turn him loose. NOTE: Unhallowed Murder can be read as a stand-alone.

Add to that the fact he doesn’t do virgins, and now the Concilio is threatening to kill him if he alters her status. It’s never a good idea to give a cat an ultimatum.
