"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." These words, among the most famous opening lines in all literature, instantly transport readers into the turbulent world of the French Revolution. Dickens' historical novel is one of the best-loved works of all time, and this illustrated version brings his explosive, powerful action to life. Come along the bloodstained streets of Paris with Sydney Carton, as he redeems himself with a heroic act that is "a far, far better thing than I have ever done."
