Sometimes getting away from it all.. Puts you right in the thick of it. With an alpaca farm and a yarn shop demanding her attention from dusk to dawn, Josephina Thompson rarely has the chance to take a trip out of town, so when her boyfriend, Nick, suggests going on a romantic getaway, she’s over the moon. After a few days of research, they pack up and head for picturesque Lake Saranac, New York. At first, the excursion is everything they hoped for; beautiful fall colors, a gorgeous small town, and plenty of hiking. They’re enjoying the company of some of the other guests at the bed and breakfast where they’re staying, and in the evenings, Jo likes to sit in the bed and breakfast’s common area and work on her crocheting. Disaster strikes when one of the other guests joins Nick on a hike… and vanishes into the woods. When his body is found hours later, accusations start flying, with Nick at the center of them. He and Jo have to work quickly to find the truth, before Nick goes down for a murder he didn’t commit.
