When the abhorrent rose from the waters of the Rio Grande River and began its inexorable March through Texas no one could have foreseen the horrors that would engulf the world. Abhorrent Siren followed those who faced the mutagenic terror of the Abhorrence as bodies and minds were warped, people turned into inhuman monsters, while San Antonio was crushed under the feet of the Abhorrent Kaiju. Abhorrent Faith brought the evil pastor Aiden King, who sought to use the terrifying power of the monster to grow his own power and fulfill his own terrifying vision of bigotry and hate. Now, the true scope of the Abhorrence emerges. A pandemic of monstrous mutations is rippling across the globe and subsuming all decency and humanity. The evil of Aiden King spreads, and those who survived and somehow escaped the changes and carnage still watch their lives being destroyed. If the human race survives, will humanity still be the final casualty. John Baltisberger is an award-winning author of Book of Ze'ev, War of Dictates, Abhorrent Siren, Abhorrent Faith, and many other titles. He runs Madness Heart Press which has published works by Christine Morgan, Ed Lee, Jay Wilburn and more. He lives in Texas.

John Baltisberger is an author of speculative and genre fiction that often focuses on Jewish Elements. Through his writing, he has explored themes of mysticism, faith, sin, and personal responsibility. He lives in Austin, TX with his wife and his daughter. Though mostly known for his bizarre blend of Jewish mysticism and splatter, John defies being labeled under any one genre. His work has spanned extreme horror, urban fantasy, science fiction, cosmic horror, epic verse, and he has even written a guide for mindful meditation. While relatively new to the writing community, (his first book was published in 2018) John has become known for his work in verse, having worked in both extremely short works and massive novella-length poetic epics. He continues to work to push himself to explore new avenues of expression and horror literature.
