Part of Series

Please note: This book is also available as part of the omnibus edition titled Dark Season: The Complete Third Series. The third and final series of Dark Season begins with a double-bill containing Abigail (Dark Season 3.1) and Quisling (Dark Season 3.2), picking up sixteen years after the previous book. Sixteen-year-old Abigail knows that she's different. Bullied at school, she dreams of running away from her foster family and living alone in the wilderness. Whatever's wrong with her, it feels like she'll always be separate from the rest of the world. Then, one day, three strangers turn up at her house. They claim to know everything about Abigail's past, including her real parents. Taking her to the town of Dedston, they inform her that her mother, Sophie Hart, was murdered many years ago. Her father, meanwhile, is hanging from chains in a nearby room. Each book is approximately 20,000 words long, so the double-bill is around 40,000. Contains violence and swearing. Part of a series, with the story set to be continued in the next book.
