Activities is comprised of “short story comics” (like a graphic novel, but, you know, short stories) and narrative drawings. The meticulously designed book features Woods’s published work since 2008. Sometimes strange, sometimes familiar, and often sad, the comics always show the reader something new. They boldly dive into the world of invention and experiment, all while being driven by a dedication to the rhythms of poetry and the need to tell a good story.
