Chris Smith, also known as Shamblesguru, is a digital nomad evangelist who has been working mainly with international school teachers in Southeast Asia for over 25 years. He was previously the ICT Advisor for the English School Foundation in Hong Kong, where he was the Head of their teacher Professional Development Centre and responsible for writing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the Foundation's overall ICT Development Plan. In 2002, he established a consultancy called "The Education Project Asia" to extend these support opportunities to other international schools across 17 countries in Southeast Asia, focused on the "Integration of ICT in Teaching and Learning." He is based in Thailand and is well known by many teachers worldwide for the "Shambles" website, which he founded in 2002 and manages. Shamblesguru is a TEDx speaker and author who established International Schools Island in Second Life, a 3D online virtual world. He strives to supplement the 3Rs with the 3Cs of communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
I’m Jennifer Smith – a designer, educator, and author. I’ve written more than one dozen books on digital imaging and Web publishing, including the recently published Photoshop CS5 Digital Classroom, Illustrator CS5 Digital Classroom and the Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium for Dummies and Wireframing and Prototyping with Expression Blend Sketchflow. I’ve done extensive work for corporations such as Adobe Systems and Microsoft, and last year traveled more than 100,000 miles visiting clients in Europe, Asia, Africa, and all around the United States. I deliver training and consulting for Fortune 100 companies, universities, and many independent software vendors. I work extensively on designing and creating interactive applications and sites using Expression Blend and other Expression Studio applications.
