Allen Miles is a six-foot three anaemic stick insect with a bit of a cold. He is 32 years old and lives in Hull with his wife Sally and his daughter Gabriella. He rarely sleeps, drinks too much and is useless with money. His first major work, 18 Days, reached No7 in the Amazon Urban Fiction chart and is now included in his latest collection of short stories, This Is How You Disappear, out now through Abrachadabra Books. His work has been compared to that of Hubert Selby Jr and Charles Bukowski, and one reviewer termed his writing as "a masterpiece of a hangover from the post-Trainspotting generation."
