Large families and packs can sometimes be overwhelming, keeping them happy can be enough to drive any shifter crazy. Can a smothered duck and the new wolf in town find ways to express the feelings they instantly feel, or will their obligations sweep them apart? Haden is the youngest of twelve, and the one most often called to help either at home or the restaurant his family owns. Finding a job at Wild gives him an excuse to try and make a life of his own, no matter how much his family drags him back by his tail feathers. New territory is supposed to be exciting, but the pack always needing Arram around makes him want to get out and explore their new town on the Oregon coast. He’s never been out among other shifters and his family has strict ideas of what’s proper or not for the kinds of shifters wolves should associate with, particularly as he waits for his arranged mate to be old enough for them to officially mate and he can move out and get space. They must overcome more than their own nerves at a budding relationship to be able to deal with the natural conflict between predator and prey. Can Haden relax enough around Arram to let his emotions take him into a better life? Will Arram find a way to make both his pack and Haden happy, opening himself to new and incredible options? Sometimes opposites make for a fabulous whole.
Authors

A.J. Marcus grew up in Texas. He’s always had a fascination with cowboys, comic books and the great outdoors. He started writing in high school and at times spent more time writing than he did reading, and he’s a voracious reader. Maybe it was growing up in Texas, but his love of rugged men showed up even before he realized what was going on. He likes his men manly, hard, tough and caring, men with hearts, and other parts, as big as Texas. A.J. currently lives near Colorado Springs, Colorado with his loving partner and several horses. The men here are still men. Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/AJ-Marc...
