Two sisters. Two stories. One great Amish Christmas read. Orphaned just weeks before Christmas, the Beiler sisters suddenly discover they could lose their home and what’s worse—each other. To make ends meet, sisters Sadie and Katie are plunged into working at the Willow Spring’s Apple Blossom Inn. But will their efforts be enough? Sadie - Struggling with pride, Sadie yearns to bake scrumptious treats in the inn’s kitchen instead of cleaning floors and toilets. But when she makes the mistake of her life, can Sadie and the inn’s handsome maintenance worker Jubal King create a plan to help save her family and maybe even the Apple Blossom Inn? Katie - On the cusp of a family tragedy, Katie must put her trust in the Lord and step into a mostly English world. When Jeremiah Hershberger returns to Willow Springs looking for answers, Katie sets out on a journey to help him discover secrets of his past. Can these young women find a way to bring the joy of Christmas back to their family and to Willow Springs?

Country girl, author, homesteader and anything simple living is what I love! I have a passion for writing about the simpler side of life, much like the life I lived growing up in rural Pennsylvania. My life has always been intertwined with the Amish culture, and it’s only fitting that I have a genuine passion for their simplicity, sense of community and God-centered life. Growing up in Northwest Pennsylvania I spent my childhood immersed deep in Amish Country. The clip-clop of horse and buggies woke me each morning as Amish men drove past my childhood home on their way to work. As a young woman, I was traumatized by an Amish murder that involved my family and changed my life forever. (If you want to read about it, please read Crimson Stain by Jim Fisher and take note that Jake, who was an essential part of that true story was my uncle.) Even though we currently live in South Carolina our travels take us through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin’s Amish Country every year. During those stops, I research the communities we visit and I pride myself on writing Amish fiction that truly represents the Amish culture. I am very fortunate to have made friends in these communities and value the information they share with me and want nothing more than to share it as accurately as possible. If you are intrigued by the Amish lifestyle, then I invite you to follow me on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and check back here often for new short stories, and information on new book releases.

Debra Torres is an author of inspirational Amish fiction. She writes romantic suspense for readers who are looking for relatable characters dealing with raw and real-life issues. The Amish books in her Willow Brook: Secrets of the Pen series are touching stories of self-discovery, forgiveness, and healing set in a small Amish community in Northwestern Pennsylvania. For eleven years, Debra and her family lived in rural Northwestern Pennsylvania, where she was able to observe the Amish in grocery stores—and the “buggy lanes.” For several of these years, Debra and her family lived on a twenty-nine-acre farm sharing the land with a herd of white-face beef cows, two carrot-loving horses, and a barn full of cats. Here, Debra kept a large “kitchen” garden and learned from locals how to “put up” her produce. She holds a BA in Communication and a MA in Journalism. While in graduate school, Debra was editor-in-chief of two university newspapers. Debra and her writer husband, live in Virginia, and have five wonderfully gifted children.
