When Anna Ricco and her widowed friends see a matrimonial newspaper advertising for mail order brides, no matter what age, shape or disposition, they seize the chance of a new life in the small town of High View, Montana. The Civil War may have ended in 1865 but it has left them destitute and penniless, without a man to love and care for them. Leaving their home in Chancer Creek, South Carolina they travel to the rapidly growing mountain town of High View with hopes of finding the perfect man to love and marry. Anna, being the eldest of the group, doubts that anyone will want to court her, especially when there are younger, more appealing women looking for husbands. But that isn’t a problem for her – no, she has other ideas, ones that include building a schoolhouse for the local children. Anna has the building plans. She just needs a little help to construct the building. She enlists the help of local sawmill owner, Burt Nicholas who promises her support and helping hands. But can Anna rely on Burt’s word, despite his promise? Or is he far too busy chasing after a potential wife, almost half his age? Find Out Now - Get Your Copy of An Education in Love - Today!
