Carter Miller-Cooper wants to start fresh and leaving Philadelphia to take her dream job in New York is the perfect way to do that. The only problem is, it’s hard to do that when she’s living with her sister’s best friend - Jax Michaels. It’s all fun until Jax becomes Carter’s first “no-strings-attached” fling and Carter becomes Jax’s practice girlfriend. With the physical and the romantic side both fulfilled, they are, by all definitions, a couple. Except they aren’t. That wasn’t part of the plan, and Carter always follows a plan. It would be nice if her heart got that memo and stopped beating faster every time Jax was around her though. As Carter’s feelings grow stronger, she can’t help but wonder if she’s simply blurring the lines between real and make believe or if there’s been something between her and Jax all along.
