Elaine was on her last clip of ammo, when the bodies started falling around her. She looked away just for a second, and she saw him. The man with the rifle, killing the dead trying to eat her. Atlas was scavenging for something, anything to bring back to the settlement. The little town was ransacked, empty and being retaken by nature. He started to believe everything was hopeless. They were running low on food, medication, and water...he didn't know how much longer they could hold out. Then he heard it. Gun shots.
