As Asha and Boom continue their bloody saga, the wages of war become too costly, and the need to retire takes precedent. When the streets they’ve taken so much from return to exact vengeance, the likelihood of the murderous duo obtaining their five-million-dollar nest egg seems more and more improbable. *** Excerpt *** “Bitch, you need to get whatever you came in here for and get the hell on with that bullshit. Ain’t nobody finna take off they clothes fo’ yo ass.” Her smile didn’t falter. “Oh, you ain’t?” “Hell naw! You want me to pull my pockets out, I might do that. But I ain’t finna get naked, just ‘cause you got a motherfucking gun pointed at me. If you was on some murder shit, you woulda did it by now.” The woman sighed, and her smile slipped this time. “You really testing my patience.” “ I don’t give a fuck about yo motherfucking patience . What’s really going on? You wanna see my dick, or something?” Her eyes flashed slightly. “Oh, that’s it, ain’t it?” the short man said. The corner of his mouth curved into a smile. “You heard about a nigga and wanna see if it’s true.” She humored him. “See if what’s true?” “See if my dick really that big.” She couldn’t stop herself from chuckling. “Yeah, I guess so. Is it really that big? Show me.” Without hesitation, the short man unbuckled his pants and pushed them midway down his thighs, boxers included. That almost wasn’t far enough to make it past his piece, which was more bizarre than impressive. He easily surpassed the desired length for a porn star, and he wasn’t even erect. As tense as the moment was, the woman couldn’t snatch her eyes away from the monstrosity between his legs. The man’s smile broadened. “Yeah, I knew that’s what you wanted. Why don’t you put that gun down, and let me show you what it do. I’ll let bygones be bygones, and you can walk up outta here, if you let me fuck the shit outta yo lil’ ass. You gon’ be walking bowlegged, but at least you’ll be alive.” The woman snorted slightly. Her expression did not change as she lowered her weapon. Midway down, all three men were shocked by the loud report. ● ● ● ● ● ● ABOUT THE AUTHOR Keith Thomas Walker, known as the Master of Romantic Suspense and Urban Fiction, is the author of more than two dozen novels, including Fixin’ Tyrone, Life After, The Realest Ever, the Backslide series, the Brick House series, the Finley High series and the Asha and Boom series.
