Everyone knows that humans can't travel to the sun...at least that's true in the year 2020. But when Astronaut Girl, Wallace, and the Astro crew find themselves orbiting the sun in a solar probe, they soon discover that they've gone almost one thousand years into the future! As they are zipping through space, the heat shields on their spacecraft come loose. They must find a way to fix it and get back to Earth in time for Wallace's family barbecue and before their probe gets baked like a potato!

Val and Wallace aren't looking forward to the last weekend of summer vacation, though they are excited about going to the local town fair! But after Wallace's friend Carlos shows up for a visit, the day quickly goes downhill for Val. Things get even worse when Astronaut Girl, Wallace, the Astro crew, and Carlos end up in a spaceship zigzagging through an asteroid belt! Can Val and Carlos put their differences aside to get them all safely back home?

When Val's teacher gives her class a science assignment to build terrariums, Val can't wait to get started! She's picked Wallace and her two friends, Ling and Abby, to join her group, and she expects to be in charge...after all, she is Astronaut Girl! But Val soon discovers it's impossible for them to agree on anything. And things don't get much better when the group and the Astro Crew zoom off to Mars for an outer-space adventure. Can the group finally put their heads together in order to save themselves from a giant sandstorm, or will they be stranded on Mars forever?
