Back cover: Stone the: crows! He's at it again! Kel Richards, author of the runaway bestseller The Aussie Bible (Well, Bits of It Anyway!), has put together a collection of his original Aussie yarns and ballads to tickle your funny bone and stimulate your grey matter. Here's your chance to match wits with Constable Clancy Paterson, sole policeman in the tiny outback town of Yallambee, in some of his most puzzling cases. Between the adventures of Clancy and his unflappable wife Matty, Kel spins other yarns about everything from the Birdsville Track and giant dogs to magic wheatfields and a special bus unlike any other you've ever seen. Even the legendary Dad and Dave and the famous Jungle Doctor make an appearance. And all told with Kel's trademark sense of fun that hides a principle behind a punch line.
