Tragedy, it can strike anyone. Healing after it can take weeks, months, years, or even decades. Bijou Augustine has struggled. Being a young widow, raising her daughter alone, and now her biggest challenge of keeping her late husband’s dream going, Bijou feels like she is slowly losing grip on her life. Living in a small town in Georgia doesn’t make for a great economy. Having a youth center is necessary but not worth donating money toward for services. Growing despite, Bijou begins making calls to search for donations, but one call changes everything. Willing to work for nothing, mountain man Noah sweeps in with a glint in his penetrating gaze that captivates Bijou the moment they meet. She’s awkward and he is clearly still healing from his own pain. But there is more to it, there has to be with how he is always checking his surroundings.
