Jennifer (Brown) Wardrip was born January 11, 1975, in Georgetown, IL. She currently resides in Bloomington, IL, where she has lived for the past 18 years. She is a married mom of two brilliant children, and also works full-time as a third-shift night auditor at a local hotel. She first published back in 2004/2005 with eXtasy Books, New Concepts Publishing, and Kensington Brava (as Alayne Warren and Jen Nicholas), and has only recently gotten back into writing mode. She spent six years running the TeensReadToo website, which specialized in YA/Teen literature. She currently writes short stories & novellas that feature smart erotic romance for intelligent readers. As far as reading goes, here's everything you could possibly ever want to know: I have lots of reading loves: zombies; weird horror; gay and lesbian; supernatural; Star Trek; urban fantasy; inspirational/Christian fiction; Buffy the Vampire Slayer; true crime; cozy mysteries; slash-and-dash, slice-and-dice thrillers; non-fiction about anything that sounds interesting; YA and teen; books dealing with the Jehovah's Witnesses religion; stories that deal with 9/11; books about animals. Basically, if it's a book, and it sounds rather appealing, I'll read it (or at least attempt to). I don't read much fantasy/sci-fi/paranormal, unless it's contemporary (urban), and the one genre I don't read is historical fiction (except for some very, very, VERY rare exceptions, like cowboys in the Wild West!). I love romance of all types, but don't like menage, BDSM, or D/s in what I read - even the erotica. And as the mother of a son with what until recently was labeled Asperger's Syndrome, I'm always looking for both fiction and non-fiction on that subject, as well as autism as a whole. That's it, in a very large nutshell!!
