Reid Bennet I've never been a man of many words. I'm happy in my garage working away on an old pickup truck and letting my mouthy, over-opinionated sister do all the talking for me. She's outdone herself today, dragging me out into our little town of Starlight Bay's annual celebration of beards. I know it's ridiculous, but like I said it's a small town, and there's not much else to do other than let a bunch of bearded men drink for free. Any excuse to celebrate, plus it always pulls in tourists from the surrounding area which is great for all the small businesses. Including our family's small body shop. I am not a man who enjoys these events. I blame my sister and grunt my displeasure up to the very minute my eyes lock with the green-eyed beauty I haven't seen in over a decade. Octavia Life can take a crazy turn when you least expect it. One day, I’m a successful photographer in Los Angeles, the next I’m rushing back to my hometown of Starlight Bay. When Nana said she needed me, I dropped everything and returned home. Pushing my way through a rough and rowdy crowd of drunk, bearded men, I’m knocked to the ground, and to my surprise, my hero is the last man I ever thought I would see again.

Heather is a Polly Pocket-size mom of three with a burly hubby and hairy husky. They live in sunny Arizona where she writes steamy contemporary romance and romantic comedies. Her books feature beefy cinnamon roll heroes (often bearded), dirty talking alphas, and adorkable, strong heroines full of sass. Each one guarantees, good laughs and epic Happily Ever Afters.
