The Beast of Talesend
2017
An alternate cover edition for this book can be found here Private eye Nick Beasley lives in a world where fairy tales ended a long time ago – where zeppelins now soar the skies instead of dragons, and where the first automobiles have taken the place of flying carpets. He’s made a name for himself across the Afterlands by debunking fake magicians and exposing fraudulent monsters. This is the modern age, after all. Magic and monsters are long gone. At least, that’s what Nick believes. Until he gets magically transformed into a monster, that is. The only person who may be able to help Nick is Lady Cordelia Beaumont, one of the last enchantresses in the Afterlands. But in order for her to cure him, they’ll have to retrieve a powerful artifact from a ruthless crime lord – who is also Cordelia’s father. The fate of the Afterlands lies in the hands of a runaway enchantress and a monstrous ex-detective. What could possibly go wrong? Perfect for fans of Doctor Who, Once Upon A Time, Indiana Jones, or The Dresden Files, the Beaumont and Beasley series features high adventure in a world where fairy tales are history.

The Tomb of the Sea Witch
2017
Nick Beasley used to be a private detective who didn’t believe in magic and monsters. He’s revised his views since then—after all, the horns and fur he sees every time he looks in the mirror don’t leave him with much choice. Joined by eccentric enchantress Lady Cordelia Beaumont, as well as his younger brother Crispin, Nick has traveled far from his home city of Talesend in a quest to become human again. The Warrengate Academy of Advanced Magic may hold the key to unraveling Nick’s curse—a powerful spell connected to the tale of The Little Mermaid. Unfortunately, the school’s headmaster is a dangerously grumpy dragon with ties to the sinister Council of Scions, so Nick and his friends will have to tread carefully. They soon find that dragons are the least of their problems on Warrengate Island. An ancient evil is rising from the deep, bringing an army of the undead along with it. Shocking revelations send Nick, Cordelia, and Crispin on a harrowing journey under the sea. The Sea Witch is not quite as dead as everyone believes...and her secrets will change everything.

The Dragon Delusion
2019
Assess the problem. Erase the humans' memories. Move on. That's Malcolm Blackfire's usual strategy when fellow dragons make the mistake of revealing their true forms to unwitting humans. Unfortunately, there's a bit of a snag this time. For one thing, the bottle of magic water Malcolm is using to get rid of troublesome memories isn't working properly. For another, there's a pesky human detective determined to solve the "mystery" of the dragon sightings. And he's really not supposed to meet Malcolm. Not yet. But no one—not even Malcolm—knows what the future holds. Or, for that matter, the past...

She has arranged his engagement to Jaglacynth, Queen of the Goblins. There seems little chance of escape from this predicament...unless, of course, the large, hairy monster Bonzo has recently employed as both his magical familiar and his valet can be of assistance. My Man Beasley is a short story featuring the characters of the popular Beaumont and Beasley series from best-selling author Kyle Robert Shultz. It is available from the author's Patreon page.

The Geppetto Codex
2020
They've got no strings...and they want revenge. The people of the city of Vetri are turning into wooden statues... ...and Beaumont and Beasley are not on the case. Not technically, anyway. This case must fall to two of their employees, the faun Gareth Llewellyn and the dryad Sylvia Kirke. True, Gareth and Sylvia don't have a great deal of experience, but this shouldn't be too difficult. The solution to the mystery is fairly obvious, and the evil magical force at work will be no great challenge to defeat. Unless Gareth and Sylvia make a terrible mistake that puts Vetri on the brink of destruction, of course. The dark legacy of Geppetto is more dangerous than anyone realizes...and an old enemy is about to make his move. The end of Beaumont and Beasley has begun.
